Early work by Atlanta saxophonist/composer Jeff Crompton. This 1992 release features original jazz in a variety of styles, "covers" of Thelonious Monk and Lennie Tristano (the only cover version ever of his "Turkish Mambo"), and a couple of tracks featuring pianist and composer Michael J. Smith, veteran of Steve Lacy and Anthony Braxton ensembles.
